Brooklyn really is the center of the world when your kids
visit this site. The Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn
Childrens Museum, and Brooklyn Museum have jointly
developed this up to create this wonderful resource for
kids.

Central
Park
Visit the first online tour of Central Park. This is the
easiest and most fun way to learn and explore all there
is to the Park. There are more than 50 places for you
to enjoy. First select your entrance to the Park. Once
inside, you can easily navigate North, South, East or
West. To jump anywhere in the Park, select the CP Navigator
link.

New York Kids
Hot radio for cool kids! The weekly, two-hour LIVE show
for 8 to 12 year olds is commercial-free radio for kids,
and most importantly, by kids. The radio show heard Sunday
nights from 6 to 8 pm on WNYC AM 820.
Prospect Park
The 526-acre Park immediately surrounds its visitors with
nature. There is a 60-acre lake on the east side, a 90-acre
meadow on the west, and Brooklyn's last natural forest
in between. Prospect Park is a wonderland for kids. Visit
the Carousel, the Lefferts Homestead Historic House Children's
Museum, the Kate Wollman Center and Rink, the Boathouse
located on the Lullwater, the Memorial Arch at Grand Army
Plaza, the Nethermead, the Bandshell, and five playgrounds.
Prospect Park hosts hundreds of events annually, including
concerts, sporting events, performing arts, festivals,
and tours.
Swimming
at Indoor Pools, Outdoor Pools and Beaches
Parks & Recreation maintains 58 outdoor swimming pools,
10 indoor swimming pools, and 15 miles of beaches for
public use.
