Mission

ur school is dedicated to St. Nicholas, a man honored for his great love for children.

As a Catholic school, rooted in faith & love, the teachers assume and understand their dual responsibilities as role models and school parents.Students are motivated to be lifelong learners ready to face the challenges they will have to address in their adult lives. The education of the whole person is of the highest priority here at St. Nicholas, where talents, strengths and abilities are developed in a caring and nurturing faith-filled enrichment.

Programs

Nurturing the spirit of faith and learning

St. Nicholas offers programs such as Project Earth for gr. K to 6 to promote awareness of our dependency on the environment.

Read First a program for grades K to 3 based on phonics,

Recorders for grades 2 through 8, Monthly First Friday Masses & Monthly Sunday class Masses hosted by each grade followed by bake sales/coffee & cake socials. St. Nicholas also has an After-School program for children in grades 3- 8.

Activities

The Aquinas Society for the gifted, Safety Patrol, Band program grades 3 to 8, Altar Servers gr. 5- 8. School newspaper.

Community

Thanksgiving Food drive for Hour Children & Seniors, Caroling for Seniors, Valentines Day contest to raise money for the missions each year, the schoolhosts a Parade through the neighborhood dressed as Saints to help raise money for the school and pray for their benefactors,

Morgan Stanley Mentoring Program, Funding Factory recycling program
